Nashua’s two major health care organizations: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Nashua and Southern New Hampshire Health System have partnered together to create The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua to give patients a safe, convenient, high-quality and lower cost alternative for outpatient surgical procedures.
Located at 10 Prospect Street in downtown Nashua, The Surgery Center is specifically designed for patients having surgery or procedures under general or local anesthesia without requiring an overnight stay. Procedures performed at the facility cost less than in the traditional hospital setting, and that often results in savings to the party responsible for paying for the patient’s care.
The Surgery Center of Greater Nashua is governed by a board of directors with representatives from Dartmouth-Hitchcock and Southern New Hampshire Health System. It is managed by an executive director, who is responsible to the board of directors for the oversight and management and daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center.
